What This Page Does
The Keywords page tracks your ranking positions for every monitored keyword across your target markets. Rankings are collected daily from DataForSEO, enriched with GSC impression/click data, and classified by search intent. This is your primary tool for monitoring ranking momentum and spotting opportunities.
Getting Started
The rankings table shows:
- Keyword — the search term being tracked
- Position — current ranking (1-100+), lower is better
- Change — position movement vs previous check (green = improved, red = dropped)
- Search Volume — estimated monthly searches
- Intent — Informational, Commercial, Transactional, or Navigational
- URL — the page currently ranking for this keyword
Key Features
- Sorting — click any column header to sort
- Filters — filter by intent, position range, volume range, or URL
- Trend sparklines — mini charts showing 30-day position history per keyword
- Export — download rankings as CSV for external analysis
- Market selector — switch between US, UK, CA, and other configured markets
Tips & Best Practices
- Sort by Search Volume descending to find your highest-opportunity keywords
- Filter for Commercial + Transactional intent to focus on revenue-driving terms
- Watch for sudden position drops (>5 positions) — these may indicate algorithm changes or technical issues
- Keywords in positions 4-10 are your best quick-win candidates for optimisation
