What This Page Does

Entity Prominence analyses where your key entities appear within the HTML structure of each page. Entity position is worth 25% of the salience score — entities in titles and H1s carry significantly more weight than those buried in body text. This page shows exactly where each entity appears so you can optimise placement.

  3. Compare against competitor placement — where competitors place the same entities
  4. Follow optimisation suggestions — move high-value entities to more prominent positions

Key Features

  • HTML position breakdown — title (+7%), heading (+3%), first paragraph, body
  • Entity heatmap — visual representation of entity density across page sections
  • Competitor comparison — side-by-side entity placement analysis
  • Quick recommendations — specific actions to improve entity prominence

Tips & Best Practices

  • Place your primary entity in the title (worth 7% of salience) and at least one H2 (worth 3%)
  • Mention key entities within the first 200 words for the position signal
  • 5-10 natural mentions across sections scores well for the frequency signal (30% weight)
  • Don't keyword-stuff — entities should read naturally in context
