What This Page Does

The Change Monitor tracks on-page changes across your site. When a page's title, meta description, content, schema markup, or heading structure changes, it's logged with a before/after diff. This helps you track the impact of changes and catch unintended modifications.

Powered by: The Closed Loop

Getting Started

  1. View the change feed — chronological list of detected changes
  2. Filter by change type (title, meta, content, schema, headings)
  3. Click any change to see the diff view — exact before/after comparison
  4. Link changes to Strategy Board cards for outcome tracking

Key Features

  • Automatic detection — changes discovered during daily crawling
  • Diff view — side-by-side comparison of old vs new content
  • Change classification — title, meta, body, schema, heading, canonical
  • Impact correlation — link changes to ranking/traffic movements

Tips & Best Practices

  • Review unexpected changes — they may indicate CMS issues or unauthorised edits
  • Link deliberate changes to Strategy Board cards for the closed loop to track outcomes
  • Title and H1 changes have the most immediate ranking impact — monitor these closely
  • Use the change feed to verify that CMS deployments made the intended modifications
